I can’t believe it’s been a week already! Here I am again sitting in Gone Awol, possibly my new Friday lunchtime tradition! And speaking of traditions, I’m playing at my old school fair tomorrow for 20mins, before spending the rest of the day at a Kung Fu workshop!

I’ve been working on a song for the Australia’s Got Talent auditions, which are only a few weeks away now! I didn’t realize but if I get through they pay for flights and accommodation to the next stage! Now I have to at least get through this first round!

There’s this girl I noticed a few weeks ago while playing at Gone Awol, and I’ve seen her there a few times since. Today we made eye contact I think. I’m too shy to do much more than drink coffee and update my blog, but being a coffee shop I assume she likes coffee, and I also assume she likes music. And I also like those things!

I haven’t really been actively seeking gigs lately, but I have been practicing a lot! I’ve started learning some covers, guitar orientated versions, so I’m keen to try them out soon at a gig!

Now for a little breakfast chat! I’m thinking about making my own muesli! I reckon it’d be pretty fun! And how pro would it be to make three different types, one for each meal of the day!

My coffee is almost empty, and so is my brain! So I’ll leave it at that! I think a blog entry every Friday might be the way to go:D Oh! I got an email from the distribution company about radio play stats etc! I haven’t had a chance to read it properly yet, but hopefully Housebird is on some type of rotation!

Next week I have a gig on Wednesday night, two gigs on Thursday, a gig on Saturday and I’m busking at a market on Sunday!

I had several gigs last week in as many days, with some great feedback! I met some guys from Malibu who said to get over to America and tour, and a guy the following night who stood up in front of everyone to compliment me, which was actually a pretty cool moment!
